1 Peter 5

I have been unable to participate in the blog hops the last few weeks because old wounds had been reopened.  I was unprepared for our enemy…he knows right where to get us sometimes, doesn’t he?

I am healed by Jesus’ blood:
Isaiah 53:5 “But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins.  He was beaten so w
e could be whole.  He was whipped so we could be healed.” (NLT)

I am a daughter of the King:
2 Corinthians 6:18 “And I will be your Father, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the LORD Almighty.” (NLT)

I am able to forgive because He has forgiven me:
Colossians 3:13 “Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you.  Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.” (NLT)

I am a worker for the LORD:
Colossians 3:23 “Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.” (NLT)

  1. Yes you are, sweet sister, Daughter of the King of Kings, which makes you a Princess, Heir to the Throne of Grace! Praying that you continue to hear God’s voice and heal through this study – old wounds – the enemy – We can be victorious as long as we look to the Son as our Light and Strength – Keep looking up sister, not around – He will walk through this with you as He has so many of us! Have a beautiful Day in Jesus, and remember to look in the mirror and see yourself as Jesus sees you – Priceless, and worth dying for! Blessings to you, Your Sister in Christ, Dianna

  2. This is such a beautiful blog! Thank you for your honesty and for sharing! I was saddened that old wounds had been opened up for you, but joyful at your triumph in writing this!! Blessings!

  3. I am so glad you decided to write this today and verbalize God’s truths. Speaking His truths causes that nasty old devil to flee! Hang in there sister and keep speaking who you are in Him. Stephanie Solberg OBS Small Group Leader
